The Wound Healing Professionals offers comprehensive treatment for patients with chronic, non-healing wounds as well as traumatic wounds and burns. Commonly seen wounds may be the result of diabetes, pressure ulcers, circulatory problems, traumatic injuries, surgical wounds, burns, spider bites, and other diseases. The success of the WHP is closely tied to interdisciplinary wound management with treatment plans and education individualized to the patient's and family's needs. Our highly motivated and highly trained staff provide patients and their families with excellence in wound care, the latest technologies and advances, education to prevent a future problem, and a life-long partnership that offers patients a renewed sense of hope. In addition to full time physicians, the clinic has two certified wound ostomy continence nurses, specially trained RN and LPN staff and support staff.
Consultation with diabetic education, nutritional support and physical therapy are available as needed. A vital part of this successful team is our integrated hyperbaric oxygen program. This treatment modality is available as an adjunct therapy for a variety of wounds.
